The Equine Resource Guide® was founded by Cathleen Prudhomme and her daughter, Rachel.  Cathleen is a retired educator who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, while Rachel currently resides in the Minnesota, where she is a lawyer.  Even though they live far apart right now, their work together on the guide brings them together through their shared enjoyment of horses and riding.

Rachel and Cathleen are originally from Michigan where Rachel grew up as a horse crazy girl, and Cathleen her horse show mom.  When they moved to Arizona, they had difficulty finding appropriate care for their horses.  The idea for their business grew out of a need for resources and services.  The Arizona Equine Resource Guide® was founded in 2007 as a service to the Arizona Horse Clubs and Associations.  It has received  wonderful reviews, and has grown each and every year.

Articles in the Phoenix Business Journal and Shape Magazine have been written about their publication, Rachel and Cathleen's bond, their shared equestrian passion, and most importantly, their giving back to the Arizona horse community.  All advertising in the guide is free for non-profit horse rescues and PATH International Premier Accredited Therapeutic Riding Organizations.

The success of the publication continues to grow, and licensing opportunities are now available in other states. We invite you to browse our website for resources and information.  If you would like an original book, they are available to you at no charge with a minimum shipping and handling fee through our ERG Online Store.

If you belong to a horse club or association, or if you have a horse-related business, please review your contact information for inclusion and accuracy.  If you have any questions about it, or if you are not listed in the guide or on our website, please contact us or submit your listing.

We offer basic horse resource & services listings in many categories at no charge in order to make our guides as comprehensive as possible.  Due to space restrictions, not all business listings may be able to be included.  If you would like a guaranteed listing, please visit our advertising information page for pricing.  Listings for non-profits will always be included at no charge.

There are opportunities to advertise and enhance your listing, so please contact us for a media kit.  For horse-related businesses that want to reach horse owners directly, our products reach your target market in a friendly and useful way.  Since our free publication would not be possible without advertising, please thank our sponsors for their support with your patronage.
